As a wedding gift from my wife’s Uncle, we received an amazing, hand made Steampunk Gun – The Kraken Blaster. This thing is an absolute work of art. The base if from a real hand gun so there is a great weight to the piece. Absolutely amazing, gives me something to try and work towards. I will upload more pictures later, but wanted to get this up here!

The latest title from Kinetic Press, Westward is a new steampunk mystery series from Ken Krekeler, writer and illustrator of The Colodin Project and Dry Spell. Ran across this brilliant hand drawn robot puzzle game this morning. Machinarium You play as a robot and have to solve puzzles as you progress through an amazingly illustrated world. I only played the first few screens of the demo and was already laughing at the charming animations.
Its available for desktop as well as iPad. A nice fun little time waster.
A cool looking steampunk airship combat online game! What more could you want. Built using the Unity3D engine (I knew I should have kept learning that) Looks to be pretty interesting. Take a look at the article over at Unity here.
Or you can buy the game for only $4.99 from Muse Games website here.
Guns of Icarus Online is a team-based multiplayer online airship combat game set in a steampunk/dieselpunk-inspired, post-apocalyptic world where lighter-than-air flight is the only means to cross the scarred wilderness that divides scattered pockets of civilization. Captain or serve as crew aboard an airship with your friends and fly into battle to win wealth and glory. With a good ship and the right crew, you can dominate the skies!
On an airship, everyone has a job to do, and the whole crew must work together to take down enemies and keep the ship flying. With three different roles to play, there’s something to suit every play style. Maximize your firepower and deal punishing damage as the Gunner, work fast under pressure and keep the ship together as the Engineer, or execute cunning aeronaval strategies and lead your crew to victory as Captain.
As of January 2nd, 2013 I am engaged to the most amazing, fun, beautiful and intelligent woman I have ever met. Our second date was at District VII in Detroit, and really got me full into this crazy thing we call Steampunk.
While I don’t want a full on over-themed steampunk wedding, I think some elements will undoubtedly make it in.
Yes. Yes. Finally finished it. Not yet for sale but, please, enjoy.
I’m working on a second that will be for sale as soon as it is completed. As with all ClothedEye™ items tho, it won’t be exactly like this, but will be the same feel.
Thanks for stopping by.
Also I know these pictures are horrible. I apologize. I was taking them for an ad to run in issue #2 of “Westward” the steampunk comic. Don’t tell me you didn’t preorder???!
